FCC provides Design - Build services and is a full service general contracting firm. Depending on your needs, we provide both in-house design, and team approaches including architects, engineers, interior designers, and lighting designers to meet your individual requirements. This helps keep costs lower, increases transparency between client and contractor, and helps in the event that design changes need to be made down the road.
Historic Renovation
FCC Design Build is passionate about working with original details and restoring the beauty and charm of homes with old world craftsmanship. We specialize in preserving historic character and value while designing to meet modern convenience and energy efficiency. FCC was a 2008 recipient of a Newton Historical Society Preservation Award for work at 357 Central Street in Newton, Ma. Another notable project was the complete structural rehabilitation, and restoration of finishes for the John Souther carriage house at 43 Fairmont which is on the Federal Register of Historic places (#86001883).
